Activities
The flagship tours offered at Fugitives Drift are to the battlefields of Rorke’s Drift and Isandlwana. Normally the tours to Rorke's Drift depart in the afternoons and the tour to Isandlwana the following morning.
Additional activities:
- Fugitives' Drift
Walk to see this famous memorial and the gorge where the Victoria Crosses were won. There is no charge for this tour. Many guests like to incorporate a visit to this site and the river as a horse ride.
- The Buffalo Gorge is a Natural Heritage Site where spectacular walks can be enjoyed.
- Horse riding ( for beginners and experienced riders)
- Diverse and abundant wildlife includes giraffe, zebra, kudu, hartebeest and a host of smaller antelope, as well as 275 recorded bird species
- Additional tours to Mangeni Falls and Masondo can also be arranged at an additional fee at Fugitives' Drift Lodge.
